CONTEXT

A haute couture “love letter” to Mexico, materialized in a unique historical landmark backdrop, making it possible to combine the Designer Wes Gordon’s mastermind for Carolina Herrera’s 25 Cruise Collection with the artistic and historical heritage of Diego Rivera’s Anahuacalli Museum, helping create a one of a kind center stage for this runway.

CHALLENGE

Using local materials like basalt stone, painted by hand in pink as the connecting element between the historical landmark building, built from the same material, and the runway surroundings, was a challenging yet rewarding task.
